Language Therapy
Language therapy session are typically 30-60 minutes in duration once or twice per week.
Stuttering Therapy
Speech therapy targeting stuttering is typically held 1-2 times per week for 30 minute sessions, depending on your child's background, severity of stuttering, age, etc. It is also important to consider situations that may cause your child to stutter for frequently, and to coordinate care with other professionals and/or teachers.
Community-based Therapy
If therapy sessions are conducted at a school or daycare, a short summary of the session(s) is sent home weekly to ensure parents are aware of session performance and how to assist their child at home. Parents are also encouraged to share progress and concerns with the clinician.
